This year’s CREOS AGM will be held on Monday 15th May at 8pm. CREOS members will find details in the latest newsletter, and all members are invited.  Nominations are invited for the post of Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and other members of the committee. CREOS always welcomes new, enthusiastic committee members interested in preserving and enhancing the area’s open spaces, so do consider standing.

This year’s guest speaker is Peter Barber, who was head of maps and topography at the British Library and is currently president of the Hornsey Historical Society. Peter is a past chairman and secretary of CREOS and still a member, and in 1983-4 he was actively involved in reviving what has since become CREOS. Peter’s talk: ‘The fifty years of CREOS’ tells how and why we were formed in 1973, the early challenges and successes and the subsequent revival in 1983/4.

The minutes of last year’s AGM and current members of the committee can be found here>>. We look forward to seeing you all.
